I've been interested in photography for a long time, having been introduced to it with a course in high school. The barrier to entry always seemed a bit high, so it wasn't until I was able to get a digital camera that I really started to take more pictures and experiment with things. That's the beauty of digital cameras, with the film being free, I get the chance to play around as much as I want. The photo-journals here are a mix of documenting fun trips I've been on with family and friends, working at getting more artistic with my shots, and taking pictures just for the fun of it. As well as the photo collections here, I also have an account on flickr. I am starting to use that to host photos going forward. I like their gallery design, and it makes it easier to post photos more quickly. Here's a random photo from my flickr galleries.

2006 01/01 - New Year's Fireworks New Year's Eve fireworks, sponsored by Shawn. 10/15 - Pumpkin Trebuchet We visited to a local farm to see a giant trebuchet launch pumpkins. 10/20 - 10/22 - FurFright Pictures taken at FurFright, a small furry convention held down in Connecticut.

2005 10/09 - Pennsylvania-Trip Matt and I made the annual fall pilgrimage to Knoebels Amusement park. I didn't take any photos at Knoebel's this year, but I do have a few coaster pics from Dorney Park, which we also visted that weekend, as well as the tourist stop from yesteryear, Roadside America. And finally, we were lucky enough to be driving through Centralia, PA and got to stop and see some of the evidence of the underground coal fire which has been burning in the mine under the ghost town for forty years. That was pretty impressive! 2004 07/09 - 07/12 - AnthroCon Pictures taken at AnthroCon, a furry convention in Philadelphia. 09/12 - Sterling Fair A trip to a local country fair. 10/09 - Knoebels Phoenix Phall Phun Phest Jeff and I made it back to Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA for their annual fall/halloween roller-coaster event. We also stopped in to ride some coasters at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. Lots ot There was lots of Halloweened-themed stuff to see as well. I took some photos of Knoebel's disturbing shooting gallery, which is populated by animatronic hill-billies, this time as well. 10/21 - 10/22 - Ogunquit, Maine A road trip up to Maine with my friend Lanny. 10/23 - 10/24 - FurFright Pictures taken at FurFright, a small furry convention held down in Connecticut. 10/28 - Wild Turkeys I caught a group of wild turkeys wandering through my yard. 10/31 - Halloween A Halloween party at Ashley's school, then trick-or-treating! 11/06 - Wild Turkeys Return The wild turkeys return, this time to my back yard and in greater numbers.

2003 05/24 - 05/26 - Memorial Day Weekend down in NJ I spent the holiday weekend visiting friends down in NJ, where we visited Atlantic City and also toured the Battleship NJ. 06/01 - 06/06 - London Trip I was sent over to the England office for a week of training. I was hoping to be able to get into London and I lucked out big time. Not only did I get into the city, I got to visit it three nights in a row! There's also a couple of high-res images for wallpaper backgrounds. 07/18 - 07/20 - AnthroCon Pictures taken at AnthroCon, a furry convention in Philadelphia. 08/29 - 09/01 - Labor Day Weekend on the Maine Coast I spent the holiday weekend camping with my family up in Maine. We got to spend some time on the beach, and also see the local population of wild deer on the nature reserve there. 10/24 - California Trip I was out in the San Jose area on another business trip. I had Friday afternoon off and did some exploring. I ended up visiting the Lick Observatory on top of Mt. Hamilton. The views were outstanding. I also happened along some deer up there and got some photos of them. 10/31 - Halloween Time to celebrate Halloween again! 11/01 - FurFright Pictures taken at FurFright, a small one-day furry relax-a-con / Halloween party held down in Connecticut.

2002 03/09 - Portsmouth Visit My friend Jeff and I visited Shawn in the Portsmouth, NH area. We couldn't get into the Albacore sub museum, so we hit a spot on the seacost instead. We checked out the Albacore sub and the beach at Odiorne Point. There's also one high-res image, another shot of the driftwood, for a wallpaper background. 08/27 - 08/28 - Sunset and Clouds Studies of sunset and clouds. There's also one high-res image of the clouds for a wallpaper background. 09/01 - Worcester Ecotarium A trip to a small zoo/museum, the Worcester Ecotarium. 09/08 - Portsmouth Visit Visiting Shawn up in the Portsmouth area again. We checked out the Albacore sub museum, and then drove up to York Beach. There's also a couple of high-res images for wallpaper backgrounds. 09/21 - Apple Picking I had my sister and niece down for the weekend, and just like last year we went apple picking. There's also a couple of high-res images for wallpaper backgrounds. 09/29 - Big-E Trip A group of us went to the Big E country fair in Springfield, MA. 10/05 - Knoebels Phoenix Phall Phun Phest Matt, Jeff and I made it back for the yearly tradition of visiting Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA for their annual fall/halloween roller-coaster event. 10/23 - Fall-Folliage Snow I couldn't believe it when I woke up that October morning and saw snow on the ground! 10/31 - Halloween I went home to spend Halloween with my family once again. This year, besides getting photos of the kids in their costumes, I also got some outdoor autumn shots, as well as lots of jack-o-laterns on display at a local farm.

2001 09/15 - SFGA Coaster Fest Lots of pictures of roller coasters at the Six Flags Great Adventure roller coaster fest event. 09/22 - Apple Picking I had my sister and niece down for to visit for the weekend, which was a pretty busy one, spent climbing a mountain, playing mini-golf and going apple picking. There's also a couple of high-res images for wallpaper backgrounds. 10/13 - Brewery Tours and Cornfield Mazes My friends Matt and Steve came up for the weekend. First we took a couple of brewery tours down in Boston, then met up with Jeff and Lonnie to check out a corn maze. You can also see some pics of Jeff's beloved boa, Emmy. 10/31 - Halloween I went home to celebrate this fun holiday with my niece and the rest of my family.
